What I enjoyed about Dead Space 1 and 2 was, not only the atmosphere and tense moments, but the degradation of Isaac’s mind. The hallucinations of Nicole and flashbacks was what really made it frightening for me. And at the end of the second they ended that.
Even though, as you say DS3 is a brilliant game, it is not a game I want. I’m not ready for another action orientated game. Fighting off dozens of necromorphs I found to be the worst part of the first two. Even though the story interests me I just don’t want to deal with hours of mindless necromorph killing.

I’m a big fan of LBP on the PS3 but didn’t think the transition to Vita worked for me. Lost it’s originality now, became boring fast and as a result I’ve left the game without completing the final level.
Personally Sound Shapes was my favorite platformer of the year.
It’s really quite a shame the game is poor. The last few bond offerings have been good in my opinion.
I don’t like the choice of films either, two are bizarre choices. Also only 6 films is certainly not fair given its the 50th anniversary. I know they;ve picked one for every bond but maybe it could of been two for every bond actor excluding George lazenby
Really enjoyable game. Some great community levels out there too, even played a Journey one which was done perfectly I don’t think Death mode should of be included in the game though, a complete contrast to everything about the game. What was a relaxing and ingenious game turns into a frustrating and unfair mess of one!
Not sure if this is the place to suggest something for the new design but is there any way you could introduce “latest comments”? You use to have it with the MediaKick layout. Just helps find the more popular articles. Or if it’s still a feature and I can’t see it I apologise
Loved this game back in the day. Both this and the first were my favourite FPSs on the PS2. A double pack of the two as a HD classic (with trophy support) would be a better idea, could prove a good move for THQ though.
This is good to hear. Enjoyed parts of Crysis 2. The nanosuit was something quite special and I enjoyed the MP.
You would think they would leave this for next gen considering it is one of the best looking franchises.
Great review, looking forward to playing this when I have my vita (week from now). After watching some gameplay footage I can see the rubbing becoming quite tedious and annoying though. Still if its similar to Drake’s Fortune I will love it – especially when I got it for 79p!
