“From the creators of Halo and the publisher of Call of Duty comes Destiny, the next evolution of entertainment,” reads a heavily trademarked sentence (which we’ve removed for ease of reading).

Bungie has now officially revealed their new FPS, Destiny, following a series of leaks over the past day or two that has left the amount of new information a little light on the ground.

The highlights from the reveal are that the game will require a constant internet connection, though it will not be an MMO, plus you’ll create a character from one of the three classes before you “forge your legend by defeating powerful foes, and earn unique and customizable weapons, gear, and vehicles.”

A story mode, cooperative and competitive multiplayer with public and social activities will make up the modes as you aim to protect the last safe city on Earth.
