Watch Dogs was one of the biggest surprises at E3 we’ve seen in recent years and, unsurprisingly, it was the most talked about game from the show. After a fairly lengthy gameplay demo at the Expo, speculation was rife that the title was due for release on current generation consoles but today, it looks like we could put an end to the rumours with the leak of a new poster.

The promotional image, via Kotaku, displays the message ‘Available on all home consoles’ while a G4TV quote declares the game is ‘truly a next-gen adventure’. Ubisoft has already revealed that Watch Dogs will be coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 but could it also be heading to the next Xbox and PlayStation 4?

The images certainly seem to suggest so and with the PS4 rumoured to be revealed on February 20, we could see an official announcement sooner rather than later. You can take a look at the poster below.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft has responded with Ubisoft senior vice president of sales and marketing Tony Key saying in a statement: “Ubisoft is pleased with the response for Watch Dogs from media and fans. The game is an original IP that has been created from the ground up at Ubisoft Montreal with inspiration from many titles and ideas the studio has worked on throughout the years.”

No mention of a release date or platforms then.

Watch Dogs is expected to launch later this year and we cannot wait.
