News that will excite fans across the globe: Metal Gear Solid 4 is getting trophy support.
Often cited as a big missing feature for one of the PlayStation 3′s biggest titles, fans will be extremely pleased that the game will be updated over four years since its release. The news comes via Andriasang who translated an interview with Hideo Kojima in this week’s Famitsu, before receiving confirmation that trophy support will be included out the box with a 3,990 yen “PlayStation 3 The Best” budget version of MGS4 whilst current owners of the game will be able to patch their game this August.
I suspect August will see a lot of replays of the hugely successful title.
Additionally, August 30 will be the date of an event held by Konami celebrating Metal Gear’s 25th Anniversary – so this could be the release date of the update.
