Id Software’s open-world shooter Rage didn’t exactly light up the world when it released last October, despite receiving an ‘A-’ from us, but it appears it will be getting some downloadable-content if a recently leaked rating from PEGI is anything to go by.
PEGI have given an 18+ rating to a title named ‘Rage: The Scorchers’, detailing that the game includes “extreme violence” alongside strong language and some sort of online integration.
It’s safe to assume this is something to do with the Bethesda-published first-person shooter as ‘The Scorchers’ was a name given to a clan of bandits that did not make it in to the final version of the game.
Id Software intended Rage to be their next big franchise after the success Doom and Quake, and so it’s perhaps unsurprising that more content for Rage seems to be on its way.
