The Playstation 2 classic Red Faction II will be hitting US-PSN servers tomorrow for all to re-enjoy. Red Faction II has been confirmed for an American release; it has yet to be revealed whether it’ll hit other areas of the globe or the amount it’ll cost.
The hit FPS which was originally released back in 2002 by Volition was a major success around the world as players blew out tunnels through mountains and created havoc on the landscape.
Red Faction II introduced refined graphics, advanced AI, customizable computer opponents for multiplayer and even new multiplayer game modes.

It’s such a shame they won’t be making any more Red Faction games as I really enjoyed them – even Armageddon wasn’t all that bad.
Might pick this up for nostalgia’s sake.

Loved this game back in the day. Both this and the first were my favourite FPSs on the PS2. A double pack of the two as a HD classic (with trophy support) would be a better idea, could prove a good move for THQ though.
