Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed some interesting statistics about Motorstorm: RC, a title available for both the PlayStation 3 and Vita. The press release, which had the title “A lot can happen in a Motorstorm minute”, included several statistics about the activities of gamers playing the racer online.
One such statistic was that “a new MotorStorm: RC event begins somewhere in the world every single second”, and that there have been “19 downloads of MotorStorm: RC every minute”.
Perhaps most notably, however, Sony revealed that “fans of the critically acclaimed, fast-paced racing title MotorStorm: RC are creating PSN friendships, new challenges and Trophies quicker than ever before”.
The success of the game should be credited to its developers, Evolution Studios, and the strong sales should be more than enough to keep the Motorstorm franchise alive for a while longer.

I’m not a competitive racer but the Radio Controlled (RC) viewpoint and gameplay is awesome! Takes me back to the Amiga days with some ferociously good top-down racers. Great news.
