Uncharted multiplayer fans rejoice! Naughty Dog has announced that Uncharted 3 is set to receive four new maps via a DLC pack. And best of all, unlike previous DLC offerings, the new maps are taken from locations in the Uncharted 3 single-player story and not re-hashes from previous games.
Each map is complete with what is described as a “dynamic event”, which include grenade-launching patrol boats and planes dropping shipping crates containing powerful weapons. The new settings include the stereo-typically English bar in the game’s very first level, as well as the shipyard which featured in later on in the main game.
The map can be purchased for £7.99 (or $9.99) via the Playstation Store on April 11, but will also available free-of-charge for those that purchased membership to the Fortune Hunters’ Club. This is to be the last DLC offering included with the season-pass package which was offered shortly after Uncharted 3′s launch, but the Playstation Blog did say that “this doesn’t mean the DLC for Uncharted 3 will stop”.
