Sony has announced a slew of new titles for the PlayStation Vita in Japan, via the ‘Welcome! PlayStation Vita Game Heaven!’ webcast.
Amongst them were some rather superb announcements: Phantasy Star Online 2, Super Robot Wars, Persona 4 The Golden, Metal Gear Solid HD, Legend of Heroes Zero no Kiseki, Gundam Mosou, and a new game from Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune, codenamed Project Discovery.
With the biggest news certainly being Phantasy Star Online 2, fans will be stoked to know that it will include cross-platform-play with the PC version and is set for a release next year.
As for Metal Gear Solid HD, it was dated for a release in Japan on June 28.
So, be honest, are you excited?

I remember being hooked to Phantasy Star Online back on the Dreamcast! Hopefully it will be a proper return to form. Cross platform play is very nice, and I’d expect Party mode would thrive here.
Another port of MGS HD Collection? Not exactly thrilled, but I doubt we’d see the original here too…
The giant robot games are mostly unlikely to venture outside of Japan, but I’d be pretty severely miffed if Persona 4: The Golden doesn’t make it. As for Kenji Inafune, I’m very confused as to what he is making.
