Saturday – the usual high point of the weekend, before the inevitability that the working week is just one day away again settles in on Sunday. It also means that it’s time for another edition of The Less Said The Better. Now with some proper time with their Vitas what would the team settle into playing?

For Rob it was spent mostly on his daily commute, something the Vita is undoubtedly perfect for: “A full week with the PS Vita and a week chock full of Rayman Origins, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Top Darts. It weren’t all on my travels though, I did have some tune for smashing my mate at FIFA 12 and trying out the SSX demo, I want!”

Ah, the capitalised titles from Electronic Arts. FIFA continues to be a staple of many lives, including my own, and with the recent release of SSX that may well do as well. I’m not the only one to get a bit of a go on SSX though, with Ryan spending his non-Vita gaming time with the snowboarding title: “My week of gaming has once again been Vitalised with Sony’s new handheld along with an added white powder as SSX dropped through my letterbox.”

As for Phil, he spent most of his week in aid of multiple reviews: “A week full of fighting and Fantasy culminated in three reviews written and being on my way to mastering Dante in some Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.”

It happens to also be the situation Harry found himself in: “Doing my best to erase Smash ‘N’ Survive from my memory by settling down to play the remastered Jak and Daxter Trilogy; while that’ll occupy most of my time, I’m sure I can find a little time to continue playing the recently started Vanquish.”

Meanwhile, Igor has continued his to hold his own in the Octagon: “Currently brawling through UFC Undisputed 3′s career mode – adrenaline pumping simulation of the real sport.”

Completing what may well be the first ever week to have an entry from everyone, Dave catalogued his time with his brand new Vita (although I think his counting may be a bit off…): “Day 32: We’re venturing into realms Uncharted. Who knows what will happen? Day 35: The treasure has been recovered. All we need now is an Escape Plan and we’re home free!”

As for me? Well, my week was packed full of games, almost all for review purposes. Whether it was FIFA Football, Super Stardust Delta, the incredible Journey, The Darkness II, SSX or Lumines: Electronic Symphony it was thoroughly enjoyable. Nothing was more joyous though than skinning my friends and colleagues in the FIFA Street demo.
