Oh dear. Microsoft haven’t had any luck recently with leaked announcements for their big titles have they? If it’s not Halo 4 and the whole E3 line-up last year, it’s the first leak from the recent Xbox Spring Showcase in the form of Forza Horizon.

What was formerly known as Forza World, Horizon is from Playground Games, the new studio consisting of Bizarre, Bigbig and Codemasters staff that is supposedly headed by ex-Codemaster racing studio executive produce Gavin Raeburn.

The trailer, which popped up on NeoGAF, doesn’t feature any in-game footage, and is solely a live-action video to set the ‘tone’ of the racer, but it does reveal that the game is expected this Fall.

Update – This has now been confirmed following the lifting of the Xbox Spring Showcase embargo.
