Hardly a week seems to go by without some sort of maintenance for the PlayStation Network. Often just minor work is carried out and most people don’t notice any difference as they are still able to continue to play online and access the Store, however, that does not seem to be the case this time.
Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Network will undergo a “significant maintenance period” this Thursday (March 1). Expected to run from 16:00 GMT until 06:00 GMT on Friday, March 2, players will be signed out of the PSN and will be unable to sign back in for the duration of the maintenance window. Additionally, access to the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, Account Management and obviously online play will not be available.
