Electronic Arts launched its rival to Steam, EA Origin, in June and since then, Valve removed Crysis 2 from their service and it unclear as to whether future EA title such as Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3 will appear on Steam. An EA spokesperson confirmed that the game will not be available on Steam and when asked about DRM restrictions said: “We don’t have any further comments beyond what we’ve provided.”
