A post on the Bioware forums from the producer of the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 has revealed some nice information on how they plan to plug the gap left by Mass Effect 1 and what DLC will come on the disc.
Firstly, the DLC packs PS3 players will be receiving are Lair of the Shadow Broker, Project Overlord and Kasumi: Stolen Memory along with the Blood Dragon Armour from the Dragon Age cross-over. The Shadow Broker won’t mean anything to many PS3 owners and Bioware intend to feed them all of the important information from Mass Effect 1 into an interactive comic which is being worked on with the help of Dark Horse Comics. Casey Hudson, producer of the PS3 version, said that it will be:
“…a stunning visual experience that not only tells the core story elements of Mass Effect 1, but also is fully interactive allowing you to be faced with some of the major choices which will have consequences [for] your Mass Effect universe.”
Also included in new copies of the game will be a code for the Cerberus Network which gives you access to free DLC.
